Our guests climb, swing and leap on more than 120 aerial challenges, including 86 foot via ferrata! Your primary responsibility is to ensure safety and well-being of the park guests. Your goal is to provide the appropriate assistance, guidance and encouragement to help guests overcome their fears and reach their potential. It is the duty of the Park Monitor to ensure each guest has an enjoyable and memorable experience.ResponsibilitiesHarness guests and deliver instructional safety briefing Coach participants on proper climbing and transfer techniques Assist with orientation and participant ground school training Clearly communicate safety procedures and guidelines to large groups of guests Observe and assist guests as they maneuver throughout the park, ensuring guests use equipment properly and safely. Assist guests with climbing techniques when needed and provide encouragement and guidance Perform daily course inspections and equipment checks Process and clean equipment Assist in event set-up and coordination as needed General facility cleaning duties QualificationsMust be a minimum of 18 year old Must be comfortable with heights Reliable with strong work ethic and personal integrity Possess a genuinely friendly and outgoing disposition when working with guests and team members Attention to detail and an extreme dedication to safety Strong communication skills and strategies representing passion when working with people of all ages and abilities Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility required when working in a high-energy environment to meet the varied needs of guests without drama Climbing or previous ropes course experience preferred, but not required ScheduleThis is an hourly, year-round and can be full-time or part-time. This position requires a candidate who can work a flexible schedule. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.
