A busy hair extensions specialist is in need of a reliable stylist assistant, available to work 32/40 hours a week with occasional overtime. This position will allow the assistant the opportunity to learn the art of lace front wigs, as well as basic styling techniques on wigs and sew-ins. We are looking for a professional individual who understands the importance of sanitation and specializes in organization and customer service.
Responsibilities:
-Greet clients
-Shampoo, blow dry and braid down wig or sew-in foundations
-Answer stylists, phone, texts and messages on social media, professionally
-Occasionally curl or straighten hair
-Maintain a professional, chic appearance
-Maintain inventory notes
-Impeccable time management
-Clean and sanitize work areas
Qualifications:
-Detail oriented
-Owns a laptop with knowledge of Microsoft Suite
-Some salon experience
-Great time management
-Professionalism
-Must be able to cornrow a strong foundation in 20 mins or less
-Must be able to blow dry and straighten hair extensions and natural hair
-Must be available to work evenings and weekends
-Must have reliable transportation
