Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and proactive Part-Time Sales Representative to help secure new accounts for our restaurant service company in Prince George’s County (PG County), Maryland. This individual will be responsible for identifying and engaging restaurants and food establishments to establish partnerships for our grease trap and oil collection services. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of sales experience, transportation, and a strong familiarity with the local DMV area, particularly Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new leads by targeting restaurants and food service businesses in PG County, Maryland.
Schedule and conduct in-person sales meetings to present the benefits of our sustainable services.
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at local businesses.
Provide accurate and timely follow-up communication with potential clients to close sales.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals and targets.
Maintain records of sales activities, prospects, and account status using CRM software.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery once an account is landed.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of prior sales experience, preferably in a B2B or service-related industry.
Strong understanding of the local DMV area, particularly Prince George’s County and surrounding regions in Maryland.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to client locations within PG County and the surrounding areas.
Ability to work part-time hours, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to meet business needs.
