Job Title: Inside/Outside Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a dynamic Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement:

Proactively engage with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer solutions tailored to their requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, architects, designers, contractors, and developers to drive repeat business and foster loyalty.

Generating new sales leads through outbound prospecting efforts, including visiting contractors, architects, potential new customers, cold calling, networking, and follow-up on inbound inquiries.

2. Sales Process Management:

Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing, including lead qualification, needs assessment, product selection, quotation, and order follow up.

Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, update sales opportunities, and forecast sales pipeline accurately.

Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to coordinate sales efforts, resolve customer issues, and ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery.

3. Product Knowledge and Consultative Selling:

Develop a deep understanding of this Stone Company product offerings, including stone slabs, tiles, countertops, and custom fabrication services.

Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers based on their project requirements, design preferences, budget constraints, and aesthetic considerations.

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and showroom tours to showcase our products and capabilities and differentiate this Stone Company from competitors.

4. Quoting and Proposal Preparation:

Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes, proposals, and sales contracts in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and company pricing policies.

Follow up on outstanding quotes and proposals to secure orders, address any objections or concerns, and negotiate terms and conditions to close sales successfully.

Coordinate with the estimating and project management teams to gather pricing information, verify availability of materials, and expedite order processing as needed.

5. Market Analysis and Business Development:

Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.

Participate in sales training programs, seminars, and industry events to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and professional development.

Contribute to the development of sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and drive sales revenue.

Qualifications:

Experienced in administration, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Proven experience (2 years) in inside/outside sales, preferably in the building materials, construction, or home improvement industry.

Strong sales aptitude and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively.

A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with clients.

Proficiency in Moraware and/or Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Team player mentality with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and achieving shared goals.
