Furniture sales associate Sells furniture and home decor products in a store, and may also help customers design their living spaces. No Experience Required
Responsibilities include:
Attracting new customers
Communicating with customers in person or by phone
Advising customers on how to match furniture items
Discussing product options based on the customer's needs, goals, and lifestyle
Helping customers with financing, purchasing, delivery, and satisfaction
Marketing new sales and special events
Maintain updated knowledge of floor inventory, including furniture details and customization options.
Answer customer questions regarding furniture make, model, color options and related information.

Negotiate prices within the company’s acceptable range for each furniture piece.
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years of sales or customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly motivated
Ability to take rejection with a positive attitude
Knowledge of effective negotiation tactics
