Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Door-to-Door Roofing Sales Representative to generate leads, conduct in-home consultations, and close sales for our roofing services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a persuasive sales approach, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Canvassing
Travel to assigned neighborhoods or territories to generate new roofing leads.
Approach homeowners and businesses to discuss their roofing needs.
Educate potential customers about roofing solutions, damage assessments, and available services.
Distribute marketing materials and schedule follow-up appointments.
2. Sales & Customer Consultations
Conduct roof inspections to assess potential damage or repair needs.
Present service offerings, product options, and pricing to prospective clients.
Address customer inquiries and objections with confidence and professionalism.
Prepare and submit detailed project estimates and proposals.
3. Closing Deals & Contract Management
Negotiate and close sales contracts with homeowners and property managers.
Ensure customers understand the contract terms, financing options, and project timelines.
Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and client interactions.
4. Follow-Up & Customer Service
Maintain relationships with clients through follow-up calls and visits.
Provide updates on project status and address any customer concerns.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage referrals.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Track sales performance and report weekly progress to the sales manager.
Stay updated on roofing products, industry trends, and competitive market insights.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in door-to-door sales, roofing sales, or related field preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned areas.
Must be able to climb ladders and conduct basic roof inspections (training provided).
