Dominion Concrete & Masonry Corporation (DCMC) is a Concrete Construction
Company in Sterling, Virginia seeking a Salesman/Estimator with experience in
Concrete & Masonry Projects.
Duties:
Self-starter able to work with limited supervision.
Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Product knowledge and the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
Able to develop and execute action plan to produce sales results.
Able to work under pressure, quickly evaluate facts, and maintain good judgment when making decisions.
Meet with project managers and/or subcontractors on site at start of projects and ensure the satisfaction of job completion.
Follow up on A/R on your accounts.
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor and equipment requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys to determine the scope of work.
Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to service existing customers with periodic scheduled visits, and effectively prospect potential new customers.
Physical requirements must be met for the General Construction Sales Representative and Estimator job, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. This position requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, with frequent walking. Repeated stooping, kneeling, bending and
climbing.
