FIELD TEAM MEMBER (Part-Time / Hourly)
Hiring for Washington, DC & NYC Markets
Join the fastest growing hummus brand in the country! As a Little Sesame Brand Ambassador you will be front and center at hummus sampling events, engaging with new consumers and grocery team members all with the goal of bringing our brand to life. You’ll be the Little Sesame hype-person as we launch with some of the biggest national retailers. You must know everything there is to know about Little Sesame; the brand, the people and most importantly the product. This role needs someone who is willing to travel to events near and far, works well independently, and is willing to help wherever needed within the company as we grow. We’re looking for Brand Ambassadors to represent Little Sesame in the Washington DC & NYC.
WHO YOU ARE:
● A detail-oriented person that is always on-time and highly organized.
● Independent: you check in frequently and thrive when you’re on your own.
● Someone that loves talking about all things food with strangers.
● A safe and responsible driver with a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
● Experience representing food brands in a retail environment.
● Desire to be a part of a small, scrappy, and delicious food startup with lofty goals.
● Hungry to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
MUST HAVES:
● A valid driver’s license and access to a car
● A willingness to travel extensively throughout your local market - visiting grocery
stores, farmers markets, restaurants, etc.
● Be able to transport supplies to and from demos, store equipment between demos, and
ultimately be responsible for keeping supplies and company assets in perfect condition
● The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist with store merchandising and demo
setups
HOURS & COMPENSATION
This position is paid hourly. $25-$35/ per hour based on location and experience. This is a part-time contract employee position. You will work 2-3 days and up to 20 hours a week. Weekend availability and access to a car is a must! Reimbursement for car travel at $.67 per mile driven.
