A Developer of custom homes for rent is seeking a PART TIME residential leasing Consultant to assist in renting luxury properties located in Capitol Hill.
Scope of work:
. Participate with the Developer in leasing multiple properties for rent to interested applicants
. Scheduling property's visit with interested applicants and coordinating the showing with the existing tenants.
. Showing properties to applicants takes place during open house and also by appointment, usually after working hours (5PM to 7PM and Saturday and Sunday afternoon).
. Answering applicants' emails or calls on a timely fashion to
to schedule house tour and send rental applications to interested parties.
. Keeping a log of interested applicants and most importantly following up the inquiries by email and by telephone.
. Advertising: updating daily rental adds (already written) with photos in Craigslist and Zillow.
. Sending, following up and verifying rental applications
. Doing the walk-through at tenants move in and move out. Handling the keys to the tenants moving in and out.
. Scheduling and coordinating contractors appointments with tenants.
. Tenants relations: answering tenants request for service and other issues.
. Other tasks related to successfully renting the properties.
- Other optional tasks, if experienced:
. reviewing rental applications and screening qualified applicants with the Developer (optional).
. Qualified candidate may also participate in preparing leasing agreements with the Developer (optional).
. In addition to the property rental, experienced candidates could do other administrative tasks. (optional)
Ideal Candidate:
. Leasing Agents/Consultant working for a firm looking for a part time job
. Retiree in leasing and real estate and marketing.
. College grads in real estate, marketing, communication may apply, even without without extensive prior experience. Will provide training.
. Small leasing/property management firm.
Requirements:
. Prior experience in showing and leasing residential rental properties with a Real Estate firm, a plus.
. College background in marketing, communications, real estate, and other, a plus
. Candidates must have take charge capabilities able to work independently with basic supervision.
. Good verbal, written, communication skills and capability to respond effectively to applicants emails.
. Basic computer skills, MS Words, Windows, a must, Excel a plus.
. Driver's license, cell phone and a car, a must.
. Must be available evening (5PM to 7 PM) and sometimes in the afternoon (if possible) and weekend (mostly Saturday/Sunday afternoon) to show the properties for rent.
