POSITION PURPOSE

The Field Operations Coordinator will assist the Field Operations Manager in maintaining HBW Construction’s commitment to delivering superior supervision on all construction projects. The Field Operations Coordinator will coordinate manpower, superintendent gear and safety related items and provide ongoing support for all field staff.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower: The Field Operations Coordinator will collaborate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure all projects have appropriate supervision. This work includes making sure all vacations, sick leave, and other time off are covered in advance. This work also includes tracking all Saturday and Sunday coverages. The Field Operations Coordinator will run the Manpower meetings and distribute the tracking sheet on Thursday mornings.

Safety: The Field Operations Coordinator will manage all safety equipment and materials to ensure Superintendents have the resources they need to remain in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations. The Field Operations Coordinator will also track, facilitate and follow-up on all required safety certifications and training for Superintendents. Process and follow-up on all safety reports from third-party consultants and the Field Operations Manager.

Superintendent Resource: The Field Operations Coordinator will prepare and handle the Superintendent on-boarding process from acceptance through the first day on the job. Beyond the first day, the work will include serving as a point of contact for all things related to Superintendents, including but not limited to clothing, gear, equipment, forms, expense reimbursements, policies, logistics, and the like.

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize assignments.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and work under pressure to meet required deadlines.

Independent self-starter and good listener who can discern required steps to achieve goals without specific task

direction.

Thrives in a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accountability, work ethic and a “can do” attitude

is a necessity.

Three to five (3-5) years of administrative experience required, preferably in a construction environment.

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Dropbox, and data entry keyboarding skills with a high degree of accuracy.

High school diploma required, college degree preferred.

Physical Qualifications

Must be able to climb ladders or scaffolding.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to walk a project 3 to 4 times a day.

Must be able to stand for 6 hours a day.

Ability to effectively verbally communicate and receive direction.

Frequently required to walk, sit, and use hands.
