Position: Administrative Coordinator

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (School Days Only)

Location: GW Community School 9001 Braddock Road Springfield, Va. 22151

About the Role:

As our Administrative Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our school's administrative operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Organizing and Maintaining Student Records: Keep our student records up-to-date and well-organized.

- Communication: Be the friendly and informative bridge between the school and our parents/community through regular emails and updates.

- School Calendar Management: Ensure that all important dates and events are accurately reflected on our school calendar.

- Weekly Newsletter: Gather information and distribute an engaging newsletter that highlights all the exciting happenings for our students and their families.

- Light IT Support: Assist with setting up student accounts in Microsoft Office and serve as an admin for our school websites.

- Excellent Organizational Skills: You have a knack for keeping things in order and managing multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong Communication Abilities: Your writing is clear, engaging, and professional, making you the perfect liaison for our community.

- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office and have a basic understanding of Squarespace website administration.

- Positive Attitude: You bring energy and enthusiasm to your work, helping to create a welcoming environment for our students and their families.
