Job Summary:
Community Lodgings, a 501(c)(3) organization based in the City of Alexandria, seeks a Temporary Bilingual Site Manager with experience overseeing 45 housing units. The Site Manager will ensure the efficient operation of property services and the office, maintaining the units properly while delivering high-quality customer service to residents. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
Ensure the timely collection of rent; maintain monthly rent rolls, prepare monthly delinquency reports, and process resident
correspondence.
Conduct tenant move-in and move-out inspections.
Process applications, income certifications, and annual re-certifications.
Monitor key reporting dates for all agencies as per our regulatory agreements.
Supervise maintenance personnel on the property.
Plan and direct the daily operations of the property.
Develop and implement annual operation and capital improvement budgets successfully.
Prepare monthly management and financial reports.
Manage related vendors and contracts.
Implement policies and procedures.
Oversee contractors and other third-party vendors performing routine and ad hoc maintenance and construction on the properties.
Perform front desk duties, including handling walk-ins, phone calls, and general inquiries.
Ensure cleanliness in all office areas.
Process mail efficiently.
Maintain storage room areas
Prepare monthly reports as required
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent 5 years of experience in affordable/tax credit site
management.
Prior experience as a Community Manager with a proven track record of success in cooperative management, effective
communication, marketing, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of the local Virginia apartment market and Fair Housing regulations.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed, including evenings and weekends, and be available on call to address after-
hours emergencies.
Capable of understanding the audience and drafting correspondence concisely with minimal supervision.
Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to multitask.
