Position Overview
Foresight and Strategy Consulting Ltd. seeks a highly qualified International Policy Research Analyst to support cross-border policy analysis and strategic advisory projects. Key Responsibilities
Policy Analysis & Reporting
Conduct in-depth research on international policies, regulations, and legislative developments affecting clients in sectors such as trade, technology, and sustainability.
Draft analytical reports, white papers, and briefing materials tailored to stakeholders in multinational corporations, NGOs, and governmental bodies.
Monitor and interpret policy shifts in key regions (e.g., EU, U.S., Japan) and assess their implications for client strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with international partners to align research outputs with client priorities.
Provide strategic recommendations based on geopolitical risk assessments and scenario modeling.
Project Support
Assist in designing and implementing policy advocacy campaigns for clients.
Support senior consultants in preparing presentations for high-level meetings with policymakers and industry leaders.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, or related fields. PhD candidates are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in policy research, preferably within international organizations, government agencies, or think tanks.
Demonstrated understanding of multilateral institutions (e.g., UN, WTO, OECD) and familiarity with policy-making processes in advanced economies.
Skills:
Exceptional analytical and writing skills, with the ability to distill complex policy issues into clear, concise deliverables.
Fluency in English (C1/C2 level required); proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Japanese) is a strong asset.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and policy analysis frameworks.
Preferred Background
Candidates with prior exposure to government advisory roles or diplomatic missions will be prioritized.
Experience in sectors such as climate policy, digital governance, or trade compliance is highly desirable.
Work Arrangements
