Costello, P.C. is a District of Columbia-based law firm with a focus on civil litigation.
We are looking for a civil litigation associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team.
Requirements: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in either DC, MD or VA. More than one jurisdiction is preferred. If not licensed in DC, the applicant must be eligible for admission to the DC bar without examination either with a qualifying UBE score of 266 or higher, and a qualifying MPRE score of 75 or higher, or is a member in good standing of the MD or VA Bar for a period of three years immediately preceding the date of application.
The applicant must be able to work independently with little supervision and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Specifically, the candidate should have experience and be comfortable with all matters related to civil litigation including, motion’s practice, discovery and experience with oral arguments.
Job Type: Application for full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours a week) will be accepted for review.
Work Location: Mostly remote with occasional in office requirements and court appearances as may be required.
Pay is commensurate with experience and licensure of applicant.
