Zone 1 Utility Services is looking for motivated electric meter installers who are looking to make money! The technician will be responsible for replacing existing meters with a new digital meter. The technician will do a test to ensure the new meter works. Responsibilities include customer interaction by alerting customers that we are doing a meter change out while answering questions they may have, accurately collecting customer data, and documenting the installations in a handheld device.
Must be dependable, detail oriented, have good verbal skills and a neat / clean appearance. Must be comfortable interacting with customers and quality oriented. Must have the ability to work within safety guidelines. Must have a valid driver’s license along with a reliable vehicle, preferably white or silver.
The pay is as followed:
$4 per meter which is $180 per day and $900 per week if you are doing the expected minimum 45 daily. Technicians can average 70. This average is $1400 weekly / $5600 monthly.
You will be trained at $10 per hour. The training should be about 4 days. Once training is completed your pay will convert to being paid per install.
