A family-owned design build firm specializing in all phases of residential construction seeks a Carpenter for ongoing remodeling projects to include bathrooms, kitchens, additions and new construction. The right candidate should be an ambitious, motivated, dependable and hardworking individual who is looking to grow with the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Framing both interior and exterior
Setting cabinets and doors
Decks and fence work
Preform finish carpentry, such as fixtures and trim moldings
Willingness to preform labor and demo
Ability to work with construction materials and tools and all work included
Perform a variety of routine, non-machine tasks such as: preparing job sites, jobsite organization and cleanup
Complete all work as directed by the Lead Carpenter and/or Field Supervisor
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience in remodeling and/or construction preferred
Ability to lift and move 75 pounds and meet the physical requirements of a remodeling project
Oral/written communication and problem-solving skills
Good mathematical skill and reasoning abilities
Ability to follow instructions and company policies and procedures
Must follow jobsite safety procedures and point out unsafe conditions
Valid driver’s license, personal transportation and tools
Ownership of common tools a plus
