We are a small business based in Northern VA and are seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to work in Ashburn, VA warehouse. This part-time contract position is starting with 16-24 hours per week.

You are a go-getter with a “can-do” attitude and great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will increase warehouse operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing products, as well as picking, packing, and shipping orders for pickup and delivery.
General Accountabilities
Pick, pack, and ship orders for delivery, following order instructions
Receive and inspect shipments. Inventory sorting and putting away. Log received items into the inventory system
Maintain inventory control by physical counts, inventory report, stock reconciliation with the computerized inventory management system.
Report any inventory quality or quantity discrepancy issues to Supervisor
Coordinate and plan with carriers for shipment deliveries and pickups
Communicate positively with supervisors, vendors, fellow workers to coordinate order receiving and shipping
Follow through with any special packing or handling instructions pertaining to an individual order
Visually inspect and process merchandise returns accurately. Maintain the return log
Keep the warehouse facility safe and secure; maintain the space clean and neat
Follow company policies and procedures related to warehousing, inventory, shipping, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Education: High School or Equivalent. Associates degree preferred
Forklift/Manlift Certification or work experience required
Experience with shipping Ecommerce orders is a plus
2+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred
Proficiency in warehouse/inventory software preferred

Basic computer/keyboarding/data entry skills
Ability to stand/walk for the duration of work hours, Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
Able to withstand varying warehouse temperatures

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
