Manic Nests is looking for Maintenance/Leasing Specialist to join our team!
❖ Job Description:
➢ Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, electrical installations, plumbing, HVAC maintenance and repair
➢ Responding to residents’ maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
➢ Carrying out preventive maintenance to avoid potential problems
➢ Inspecting properties, appliances, and systems regularly for any signs of damage or wear and tear
➢ Repairing or replacing faulty equipment and systems
➢ Assisting with resident relations/communications, administrative assignments, and property management tasks.
➢ Assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of the property grounds, common areas and room turnover.
➢ Effective communication with prospective renters, generating leads and scheduling room showing tours.
➢ Leading tours of the community, property common areas and rooms that are subject to rent
➢ Work Schedule includes weekends for maximum leasing potential for both you and the company. (20 hours in total for one calendar week).
❖ Qualifications:
➢ Proven experience as maintenance technician
➢ Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system
➢ Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
➢ Strong interpersonal communication skills and familiarity with professional business writing.
➢ Organizational skills with accuracy in work and ability to multi-task.
➢ Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
➢ Ability to work with minimal supervision and to handle a physical workload
➢ Reliable, responsible and motivated
➢ Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) Spanish and other languages is a plus.
