A large condominium in Alexandria is currently seeking a full-time Lead carpenter.
This is a field installer position that reports directly to the Operations Director. Ideally, the candidate has 2-3 years of experience installing windows, wood trim, flooring, siding, and decking materials.
Some interaction with homeowners will be required, so customer service skills are necessary. The candidate will be provided with a company van. The candidate must have a driver's license and a good driving record.
Along with performing installations that meet or exceed company standards and timelines, your responsibilities also include:
- Complying with all safety guidelines
- Ability to timely complete work that meets company standards
- Carry, lift, and move materials that weigh 50lbs or more
- Taking directions on job sites to complete necessary work
- Responsible for maintaining any company-provided tools and equipment
- Following diagrams and directions to complete site work
- Mentor and coach apprentice carpentry helper
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
