The Housekeeper is responsible for all homemaking functions. The Housekeeper is a self-motivated and experienced professional who supports the needs and goals of the family to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.  The Housekeeper will maintain a professional and positive attitude toward the property, the family, and visitors. 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. This position may require long hours and flexible weekend hours as needed.

-Maintains overall cleanliness and organization

-Light housekeeping daily including, but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, furniture polishing, and window cleaning

-Maintain hygiene – standard bathroom cleaning routinely

-Regular deep cleanings on a scheduled weekly basis 

-Manages laundry and dry-cleaning for the household 

-Takes garbage in and out of the house on scheduled days 

-Checks mail daily 

-Ensures all items including blankets, workout equipment, toys, supplies, and mail are put in their respective place 

-Serves pre-cooked meals (as per instructions) and drinks to family on need basis throughout the day

-Flexible and pro-active

-Self-motivated and adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the household

-Adapts to the needs of the household, and guests as needed

-Ability to work independently.

-Multi-tasker, prioritize & plan activities.

-Diplomatic, tactful, a professional with refined etiquettes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a home & office environment. This role routinely uses standard bathroom cleaning supplies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move around.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

TRAVEL

Travel is regular and is primarily local during the day, such as grocery store trips and other necessary errands. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for vacations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimal of 2-4 years as a housekeeper in one or multiple properties.

Must have own transportation.

English speaking and comprehension.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

Must be authorized to work in the United States
