Job Overview
Ark Services is looking for a skilled and reliable construction worker to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in painting, drywall repair, masonry, and general maintenance. You will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and renovations in residential and commercial properties. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Perform interior and exterior painting, ensuring clean and professional finishes.
Repair and install drywall, including patching holes, sanding, and texturing.
Conduct masonry work, such as brick and stone repairs, concrete patching, and sealing.
Handle general carpentry tasks, including minor framing, trim installation, and repairs.
Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, etc.).
Inspect properties and perform preventive maintenance to avoid costly repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair doors, windows, locks, and other fixtures.
Assist with general property upkeep, including minor landscaping and pressure washing.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
Strong skills in painting, drywall repair, masonry, and general maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed.
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills.

- We pay $24-$32 per hour based on experience
- Work Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- No weekends!
- Our clients are mainly in DC and surrounding areas.
- Self-Transportation required.
