Columbia Pike Laundry offers Wash & Fold Laundry Service in the Northern VA/DC area with Pickup & Delivery. Responsibilities (Critical behaviors associated with this role):
Pick up and Deliver laundry orders to customers (in company vehicle) with a friendly and courteous attitude.
Properly mark items to ensure orders do not get mixed up.
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Make note of customer requests in terms of service, needs, questions, or requests - Relay information to attendant upon return to storefront.
If a customer is unavailable or there is an issue that does not allow for the pick up or delivery at a building, contact management immediately.
After pickups and deliveries are completed, return to the storefront and log new orders into the system with an attendant.
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, or in person.
Requirements (expected proficiencies):
Preferred
Knowledge of the Northern Virginia area and surrounding areas a plus.
Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.
Required
Have a valid Social Security number
Valid and current Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record (must bring copy of DMV driving record)
Ability to pass background check and drug test
Ability to lift up to 50 lb. laundry bags
Respectful attitude with coworkers and other office staff
Ability to read a map and use GPS
Driver must have their own smartphone to use our delivery app
Read and speak English clearly

Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 7:30AM - 12:00PM (14 hours/wk)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
More hours available if needed as you are trained.
