Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively
Must be manual dexterity to push wheel barrow, use hand tools, operate jack hammer and form property signs for dumping trucks
Tasks include raking asphalt, dumping trucks, operating machinery, set up and tear down traffic control, sweep and clean roads work with hand tools, vehicle and equipment cleaning.
Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, exposed to high levels of noise and work in substances found in road construction such as grease, diesel fuel, gas and asphalt.
Machinery include bobcats, asphalt rollers, paving machines, milling machines
Must be willing to learn to operate equipment and to care for equipment) servicing and cleaning
Must Pass Drug Test
Must have a valid drivers license
Transportation to and from work
Must be able to report to work by 6.45 am
Comply with companies policies and safety policies
Must be 18 years of age
Start immediately. Must have steel toe boots.
