Job Title: HR Manager (Company-wide)

Salary: Starting at $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Manager to join our dynamic team. The HR Manager will oversee human resources functions across our Virginia and Maryland branches, ensuring compliance with state-specific labor laws and regulations, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and supporting our dedicated staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

>Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of employees, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition.

>Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

>Ensure compliance with Virginia and Maryland labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, leave laws, and other relevant employment legislation.

>Administer benefits programs, handle workers’ compensation, and maintain accurate employee records.

>Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and state regulations.

>Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

>Provide HR support to management and staff, including coaching and training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

>Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.

>Demonstrated knowledge of Virginia and Maryland labor laws and HR best practices.

>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.

>PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification preferred.

>Proficiency with HRIS Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
