Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Homewatch CareGivers of Fairfax

Employment Type: Full time or part-time

Reports To: Director of Client Services

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our homecare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and fostering meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.

Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as instructed.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction and engagement.

Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification.

Previous experience in homecare or a similar setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Valid Drivers License

CPR/First Aid
