The Aid is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding, and participating in community activities. This should be done with dignity and respect.
The Aid will also assist with the following;
Hair care, mouth care and nail care.
Assist residents with ambulation, when needed.
Personal hygiene, including monitoring for incontinence.
The Aid must complete care notes daily and document changes in the resident's condition or behavior.
Provide supervision to residents during onsite and off-site activities.
Perform light cleaning duties to keep facility sanitized and free of clutter.
Perform laundry duties to ensure the resident's clothes are clean and fresh.
Cook healthy, nutritional meals by following the facility's planned menu.
Administer medication after sucessful completion of Medication Technician course.
