Job Opportunity: PCA/HHA/CNA for Stroke Patient Care in Gainesville, VA
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable PCA, HHA, or CNA to provide home care for a stroke patient in Gainesville, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a strong understanding of the needs of individuals recovering from a stroke.
Position Details:
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (9 AM - 8 PM)
Location: Gainesville, VA
Responsibilities:
Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Providing mobility assistance and transfers.
Administering medication as prescribed.
Offering companionship and emotional support.
Ensuring safety and comfort for the patient at home.
Running errands as needed.
Transporting the patient to doctor's appointments and other necessary outings.
Requirements:
Previous experience in home care, preferably with stroke patients.
Valid certification as a PCA, HHA, or CNA.
Ability to speak clearly and effectively communicate with the patient.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive the patient to appointments and errands.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
