The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all new patient experience great service from initial call to consultation to new patient start.
The Treatment Coordinator’s first priority is to ensure that all New Patients, Pending Patients, and Recall Patients receive exceptional serviced from the consult start.
The Treatment Coordinator must have the following skills: extreme organization, professionalism, great problem solving techniques, attention to detail, while also being outgoing and friendly.
Responsibilities
Act as new patient liaison for all new patients by managing all information related to new patients from new patient phone call to new patient phone consult
Educate, motivate, discuss treatment plans, explain procedures appliances, treatment process, and fees to patients/parents during new patient consult appointment
Schedules appointments immediately following consultation
Manage all communication and scheduling for observation and pending patients
Provides patients/parents necessary information to schedule dental or surgical appointments
Maintain contact with unscheduled patients through mailers and phone calls
Prepare letters to dentists for patient treatment, extractions, oral hygiene, etc
Responsible for creating and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly new patient reports
Follow’s up and confirms all new patient consults and bonding appointments
Qualifications
Knowledge of dentistry/orthodontics and ability to communicate treatment options to patients/parents
Experience with managing difficult situations and conversations
Pro-active; high-performing, can do attitude, and results orientation
Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great communicator
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Prior sales experience a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
