Live-in Caregiver (non-smoker) performs:
personal care helping with bathing, dressing, wound care and continence support; assistance with getting around the home, including doctor’s appointments; overseeing patient’s medication dispense; household chores, ie. helping with vacuuming, washing clothes, and other light housekeeping, preparing and cooking meals; running some errands, such as shopping or picking up prescriptions. Caregiver should demonstrate:
- Bedside manners
- First aid knowledge
- Empathy, maturity and integrity
- Excellent Communications and interpersonal skills
- Decision-making
- Professionalism
- Respect and discretion for client
- Ability to set good boundaries.
Caregiver must have - at minimum - a High School Diploma,
Home Care Patient training and must have own reliable transportation.
