Caregiver needed for retired doctor with dementia. He’s the sweetest most gentle soul and I’m not just saying that because he’s my dad I need someone who is dedicated to work and doesn’t have any other distractions (kids, school, 2nd job etc). Hours to vary from 50-70 hrs per week. Pay is $18/hr. Must have transportation for occasional doctor appointments. Work includes medication reminders, showers, light meal preparation, light housekeeping and keeping him socialized and entertained. We live in a nice neighborhood with rec centers, pools, golf course etc. He’s very easy going and good with just going on light walks. He loves to read. He stays to himself mostly so i'd like someone encouraging. If you’re interested and can start Sept 12 2024 please respond to this posting. If you have a resume please send. If two friends would like to work together to have coverage for the hours that is fine. I know that 50-70 hrs a week is alot for 1 person to work so I don't mind 2 people working together to relieve each other.
