The Front Office Receptionist should have a great personality, be efficient, organized and punctual, familiar with various health insurance providers, and highly proficient in managing patient referrals and scheduling. You will be key in ensuring smooth daily operations.
Job Duties:
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, answer and direct phone calls, and take messages.
- Enter patient information into the system.
- Review patient paperwork for accuracy.
- Collect co-pays, co-insurances, and other payments from patients.
- Keep the front office area clean, organized, and tidy.
- Respond promptly to email communications from coworkers and patients.
- Maintain medical records and files, and perform additional clinic tasks as needed.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 2 shifts 7 AM - 3:30 PM, 2 shifts 10:30 AM - 7 PM, and Fridays, 9:30 AM - 6 PM, each week.
Experience in a medical office is preferred, but training will be provided. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus. Must be comfortable using computers. Ability to create a friendly and welcoming first impression for guests and patients is essential, leaving a positive impact throughout their recovery and ongoing visits. Ownership of a personal vehicle is required to ensure timely arrival at the office.
