We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily care and support for a 20-year-old male with special needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, and skilled in working with individuals requiring specialized care.
Key Responsibilities:
Work daily hours of 12pm-8pm
Provide daily assistance with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and feeding as needed.
Administer medications and follow a prescribed care plan.
Assist with mobility and physical activities, including transfers and exercises.
Engage in interactive and stimulating activities to promote cognitive and emotional well-being.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment.
Communicate regularly with family members and healthcare professionals regarding progress and needs.
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in Maryland.
Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and assist with mobility when required.
Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
