About Us:
J Street Trivia is a dynamic and engaging DC-based entertainment company that brings fun, interactive trivia experiences to local businesses and events. We’re seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals to join our team as trivia hosts and bring our exciting trivia game to life.
As a Trivia Host, you’ll lead 1-2 trivia events per week, creating a lively, fun atmosphere for participants. Your role will involve facilitating the game, reading questions, managing the event flow, and ensuring the energy stays high while keeping players engaged and excited.
Key Responsibilities:
-Host and facilitate trivia events in a lively, engaging, and fun manner.
-Ensure the game runs smoothly, keeping the audience entertained and involved.
-Create a positive, upbeat environment for participants to enjoy.
-Communicate clearly, professionally, and with enthusiasm.
-Maintain organization and timing during the event to keep it on track.
-Engage with participants and encourage team interaction.
-Assist with event set-up and breakdown as needed.
Qualifications:
-Fun, energetic, and charismatic personality that can engage and entertain a crowd.
-Comfortable speaking in front of groups and managing event logistics.
-Ability to think on your feet and keep events running smoothly.
-Prior experience hosting or leading events is a plus, but not required.
-Flexible and reliable, with availability for 1-2 events per week (evenings preferred).
-Must be available for events in Arlington, with additional opportunities in DC soon.
