Son of a Fish Sushi, a grab-and-go/take-away sushi shop, is located inside Union Market. We are looking for a sushi chef / helper, prior experience preferred. Knowledge and experience preparing and serving various types of sushi and related items, we are willing to train the right candidates Opening hours are from 11am to 8pm, so no late nights. Must be available to work weekends (Fri-Sun)
Spanish language a plus
Responsibilities to include:
Preparing sushi to-go and rolling to order
Interacting with and serving customers
Conducting transactions using Toast POS
Working with another team member responsible for prep & production
Opening or closing daily tills, including handling cash and deposits
Working with coworkers to open and/or close shop, including pre-service organization and prep, and end of day cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
Tracking inventory and communicating product and equipment ordering needs to manager / chef
