Talkin' Tacos Dupont Circle is searching for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Store Leader to lead our team and oversee daily operations. As a cornerstone of our leadership team, the Store leader will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, employees are motivated, customers leave satisfied, and profitability goals are achieved. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Building:
Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Foster a positive work culture to reduce turnover and boost morale.
Provide mentorship, constructive feedback, and growth opportunities for team members.
Customer Service Excellence:
Set the standard for exceptional customer service by leading by example.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and retention.
Monitor online reviews and respond as needed to maintain the restaurant's reputation.
Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff schedules, and payroll management.
Step in to support various roles during peak times or emergencies to keep operations running smoothly.
Enforce company policies, health regulations, and food safety standards. Must be Food Safety Manager Certified.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Track inventory, audit supplies, and coordinate orders to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor food costs, control waste, and identify opportunities to optimize spending.
Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:
Handle conflicts among staff or customers with fairness and professionalism.
Solve operational challenges such as unexpected staff absences or supply shortages effectively and efficiently.
Manage budgets and submit profitability reports to corporate or ownership.
Track labor costs, monitor expenses, and develop strategies to achieve financial goals.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Train staff on OSHA regulations and create a safe work environment for employees and guests.

Requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
