Work Schedule: Hours depend on performance schedule

Position Location: 100% Onsite

Pay Rate: $12.41/hour plus tips

POSITION SUMMARY: The Restaurant Server is an energetic, personable, and reliable team member who will provide an outstanding dining experience by delivering food and beverages to guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and creating a welcoming environment. This is an essential role in maintaining a high standard of service and fostering long-term customer relationships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor and introduce them to the menu.

- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.

- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

- Ensure that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience, offering additional items as needed (e.g., refills, condiments).

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.

- Check in with guests periodically to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.

- Process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables between guests.

- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.

- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as setting up and breaking down dining areas, restocking supplies, and cleaning.

- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure optimal service and guest satisfaction.

- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues to management if needed.

- Comply with all restaurant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and guest requests.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple tables or responsibilities at once.

- Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to handle stress in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

- Must have physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods

- Ability to lift trays, plates, and food orders weighing up to 25 pounds, and ability to move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
