We are looking to hire bartenders for 2 of acclaimed chef Peter Chang’s restaurants — Chang Chang in DC and Ni Hao in VA. Chang Chang is a fine dining restaurant featuring a sophisticated menu of mostly northern Chinese food and a bev program focused on Asian flavors and wines that pair well with Szechuan food. Ni Hao is a tapas style restaurant focused on northern Chinese small plate format dining and a bev program similar to that at Chang Chang. I’m looking for bartenders with at least 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale, full service restaurant that sells liquor, cocktails, beer and wine. Our bars sell food, and bartenders often take tables so willingness to do that and some server experience are pluses. Most importantly, please also be a responsible, self-motivated professional who understands the importance of teamwork, knows how to play nicely in a group sandbox and can work independently from oral and written instructions without needing management to be your babysitter.
