Small boutique hotel like facility “high End” seeking an Executive Pastry chef in Washington DC
we are looking for an experienced/talented chef to produce high-quality, tasty & beautiful desserts, pastries, cookies, and other items for our Restaurant and events.
We are a fine dining Restaurant/caterer. Our Pastry department’s main focus is individual desserts. A well-rounded background should include precisely executing recipes, mixing, oven work, an eagerness to learn and a devotion to quality and detail. For us, it is all about quality, efficiency and an environment built on hard work and respect. This position requires you to work w one assistant can be in busy time a production position and the schedule can occasionally vary. Clean facility good, updated equipment.
For the Most part we are a Monday to Friday operation at the exception of few brunches a year as well as wedding party on the weekend This is a production position, and the schedule can occasionally vary. The position is a working chef position in a small boutique hotel/ wedding cake ability is a must beside fine dining pastry as we do few weddings a year.
Will consider a first-time pastry chef if the track record is there to merge into the position from where you currently are.

Job Responsibilities:
Consistently prepare high quality food in a timely manner while following all recipes and specifications, Cookies /cakes /petit four etc.
Excellent communications skills, and reliability.
Handling Inventory and ordering as necessary.
Handling food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines. ServSafe
