About the Role:
PX Tacos is seeking a reliable and experienced Cashier/Kitchen Support Staff member to join our team. This role requires a candidate who excels in both customer service and kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during peak hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashier Duties:
Accurately process customer orders and payments (cash, credit, mobile).
Upsell menu items, including sides and beverages.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
Kitchen Support:
Assist with food prep (chopping ingredients, portioning toppings).
Support cooks with light cooking tasks (e.g., grilling proteins, assembling tacos).
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a sanitary workspace.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in both customer service and kitchen roles (restaurant or fast-casual preferred).
Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays required).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of food safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred).
