As a Baker / Catering Lead at Chopsmith, you are key to the success of our baked offerings & catering events.
As a baker, you will coordinate baked goods with the chef, and ensure that proper stock is maintained and consistent. You will be responsible for making all doughs and preparing all recipes and storing in an organized manner, baking as needed, and planning new and seasonal items. Train others on how to cook and hold each baked item. Suggest new methods and items to introduce.
Catering Lead - will execute the catering orders that have been passed down by the sales team. Coordinate schedule in advanced if additional man power or delivery is needed for orders.
The perfect fit for this position has several years experience as a baker, has experience with catering or in a kitchen environment. They are above 18 years old, has reliable transportation to NoMa & The Wharf, has a smart cell phone, is respectful and works well with others. This person is hard working and enjoys working as a team and pushing the team to higher levels.
