We are seeking an Architect or an Architecturally trained Designer with a minimum of 5-8 years of residential design and wood frame construction experience, preferably in a residential remodeling or homebuilding company. We are looking for a team player who puts both internal and external customers first, is solutions oriented, and respects the process we follow to get the job done.

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team whose focus is to provide creative, one-of-a-kind design solutions for our clients. You will touch the project every step of the way including site analysis and due diligence, to schematic design charettes and design development, to working with engineers and trade partners, through the construction drawing phase, to working with local jurisdictions through permitting, and to the eventual start of construction. Every project is different in both scope, design direction, and budget.

Minimum Requirements: A degree in Architecture / Residential Design / Architectural Drafting or similar; Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software; knowledge of residential design and space planning; understanding of wood frame construction materials and methods; thorough knowledge of building codes, local zoning and jurisdictional requirements; superior technical skills with an eye for detail; the ability to manage design projects from start to finish while meeting critical deadlines in a fast paced environment. Licensure is a plus, but not required.
