Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Summer Camp counselor to join our dynamic team. As a Summer Camp Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting in implementing our Summer Camp-themed curriculum and providing a nurturing environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
Lead in implementing the Summer camp curriculum, including preparing materials and activities that promote hands-on learning and exploration.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected.
Provide individualized attention and guidance to students, assisting them in their learning journey and helping them develop independence and confidence.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with the classroom team and offer engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the diverse needs of our students.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress during Summer camp.
Requirements:
A passion for working with young children.
Experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
B.A. In Early Childhood a plus
Minimum high school diploma: 90 hours or CDA credential or coursework is a plus.
College student or candidate with college credits a plus.
