We are seeking experienced Mandarin tutors to join our language learning marketplace, focusing on providing high-quality Mandarin instruction to adult learners in a 1:1 online classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 1:1 Mandarin lessons online with adult students.
Tailor instruction methods according to individual student needs.
Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their Mandarin language skills.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tutoring Mandarin, or credentials that reflect equivalent experience.
Example credentials include: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field; TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) or TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) certification; Professional development or specialized training in Mandarin language teaching.
Excellent proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, engaging teaching style.
Proficiency in using digital platforms for online education.
Technical Requirements:
Reliable desktop or laptop with webcam.
High-speed internet connection suitable for video conferencing.
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate ranges from $30 to $60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our platform takes only a 10% commission on earnings.
