Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Woodbridge, VA

Hours: $20/hr Part-time – (with potential to do more hours as business season picks up)

Job Overview:

I am seeking an organized, proactive, and resourceful Personal Assistant to support a local mom and entrepreneur managing multiple business ventures and a nonprofit organization. This role requires a versatile individual who can oversee scheduling, handle communications, and manage logistics for various businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support

o Manage scheduling, calendar, and appointments for both personal and professional commitments.

o Coordinate and respond to emails, inquiries, and client communications.

o Maintain an organized system for document storage and retrieval, including business receipts, contracts, and invoices.

2. Business Operations Management

o Assist with logistics and fulfillment for the baby gear rental business, including managing bookings, coordinating/fulfilling deliveries and pickups, maintaining inventory.

o Track and maintain inventory for the vending machine business and coordinate restocking efforts as needed.

3. Research & Project Assistance

o Research potential business growth opportunities, including partnerships and health-related incubators.

4. Communications & Social Media

o Manage social media presence for the business

o Draft communications, newsletters, or updates for clients, partners, and social media platforms.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in similar roles.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across diverse business areas.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of inventory management.

Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment in dynamic situations.

Ability to run errands and tasks successfully.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in logistics or inventory management is a plus.

Familiarity with the needs of small business operations and nonprofit management.

Knowledge of social media marketing and/or content creation.

Schedule: Flexible hours with some availability on evenings and weekends as needed to help with fulfilling orders.
