Job Summary:
HBW has an exciting opportunity available for a Project Accountant to join our accounting team. We are willing to develop you into the role if you are a good fit. This position supports four project managers and handles:
Responsibilities:
Job Cost Reviews & Reporting for Project Managers and our Management Team
Processing of job-related Accounts Payable
Validation and Processing of Subcontractor and Material Requisitions
Preparation and processing of AIA billings
Set-up of New Jobs to Include Contract Entry and Subcontractor Commitments
Monitors accounts receivable for collection
Validates vendor insurance compliance with Company requirements
Requirements:
Our accounting team uses Sage 300 accounting software and prides itself on providing timely, accurate, and value-added guidance and reporting to our Project Managers and Management. We have a "can do" attitude and work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
1-2 years of full cycle accounting experience or construction project accounting experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Prefer proficiency with Sage 300 and Procore.
Detail-oriented, and organized, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
Must be able to work "hands-on" in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment.
