Job Title: XRAY TechnologistJob DescriptionAs an XRAY Technologist, you will be responsible for entering data into the Medical Archival Recording System (MARS) for multiple purposes including medical records, billing, statistics, and quality assurance. You will maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and ensure that the exam room is well-stocked with the necessary supplies. Your role includes performing a variety of related clerical tasks such as answering phones, relaying messages, and scheduling exams. You will also report any equipment malfunctions to supervisory personnel, operate radiological equipment confidently in all care settings, and demonstrate the ability to assist in teaching radiography students sound radiography principles. Administering sound patient care practices according to hospital/department policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients is a key part of your role.Hard Skills
