Technical Writer/ Communications Specialist

Infina is looking for a Technical Writer and Communications Specialist to help produce a variety of written materials to support our customer within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This individual will have the ability to translate complex, technical concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and easily understandable. This position is full time onsite at the FAA Headquarters building in Washington DC.DutiesResearch, document and edit content for the web, training packages, communications and outreach, technical documentation, marketing materials and more  Author and review technical documents for accuracy and adherence to defined standards Follow protocols for knowledge creation and publish within recommended systems and timelines Develop program documentation for security requirements for new systems Produce and distribute tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications Collaborate with SME’s for additional clarifications, review, and content capture Research and collect usability feedback from SME’s, designers, and end-users Establish, plan, and administer writing policies and procedures in accordance with governmental policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned
