- BA/BS in IT or related field discipline.
- Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity as a Server Administrator
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Design, development, and integration of hardware and software to support large scale Windows environments with virtualization.
- Windows Server engineering and administration on recent OSs (Server 2012+).
- Troubleshooting: multi-forest environments, ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), communications flows with network security appliances in-path, between servers.
- Administering common core services (DHCP, RADIUS, DNS, Group Policy).
- Administering MS SQL servers.
- Administering MS IIS or other web frontends.
- PowerShell.
- ADCS (Active Directory Certificate Services).
- Firewalls and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- 8140/8570 IAT II compliant.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Core Infrastructure (certification was retired by Microsoft in 2020).
