Description:Actalent Interiors division is looking to have a Space Planner join our client in Washington, D.C. The program is for the FMSCA (DOT offices throughout the country). Our client is looking for someone who can come in and manage their space plans, work with the client, and ensure the documents are being modified to scope. They will maintain all of the floor backgrounds for the facilities/spaces, ensure that the CAD base building and furniture layouts are kept-up-to-date.This person will review, analyze, and conduct research and draft correspondence in response to space requests. They will communicate the delivery of space and facilitate the installation of needed furniture and communications services and systems.The ideal person will be someone who is comfortable in a heavy production role and is good with taking direction. Occasional U.S. Travel is Required.% Breakdown:

60% AutoCAD production work

30% Walkthroughs with the client and taking measurements

10% Administrative work

Skills:

AutoCAD

Drafting and design

Project coordination

Construction Management

Construction drawings

Facilities design/layout

Interior architecture

Bluebeam.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have BS degree architecture or interior design is preferred. CM or Engineering would be acceptable.

Exposure and Understanding of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.

Must have experience working with a government agency or on a government project.

5-8yrs of experience

Eligible to work in U.S.
