Position OverviewFleishmanHillard, a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world’s biggest brands has an immediate opening for a hands-on, self-starting Senior Vice President to build on the existing strength of our Talent + Transformation practice.As a Senior Consultant, this candidate will be responsible for providing strategic counsel, working directly with C-suite clients in executive, corporate communications, HR, labor relations and other functional areas. This role will act as an interface between all Talent + Transformation teams across the agency. Work with client C-suite executives on a variety of complex Talent + Transformation strategies
Identify and contribute to growth opportunities for the global agency including RFP responses, new-business pitches, prospecting, and thought leadership
Leverage professional network to generate business for the firm and participate in other business development efforts
Provide strategic counsel to the agency’s other employee communications practitioners, leading and participating in account planning and program management efforts
Develop and implement employee communications, engagement, alignment and change management programs for an array of clients/industries, including mergers/acquisitions, integrations, spinoffs/IPOs, reorganizations, reductions in force, functional transformations, leadership transitions, culture programs, branding initiatives and more
Counsel on a variety of other highly strategic internal communications efforts, including employee value propositions, employee advocacy programs, purpose/values programs, diversity and inclusion programs, labor/bargaining projects, crisis/issues management engagements and more
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, or related field. Master’s degree in communications, business, organizational psychology or organizational behavior is a plus
15+ years of experience in employee communications/engagement and change management
Prosci certification and large-agency experience also a plus
Experience and comfort with counseling clients at the C-suite level
Experience developing and generating support for strategic, comprehensive communications plans that apply data-driven insights to deliver business outcomes for our clients
Excellent time management skills with the ability to lead programs and manage others to deliver high-quality thinking and results quickly and within tight timetables
Entrepreneurial spirt with experience identifying and building relationships and translating those into tangible partnerships
Highly detail oriented, and strong presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to be flexible, adaptable and wear many hats
A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
